Traditionally every year Byala is the host of the Week of the Sea. The festival originated in 1980 and is a very exciting event for the citizens and the visitors of the town. The event is held in the town's square. back

The rare curative plant white oman (Inula helenium) is listed in the Red Book of Bulgaria. The field has an area of about 2 ha and is located in the neighborhood of the village of Detelina. It was declared as a natural phenomenon in 1983. back

A winery with a wine-tasting hall, located in Byala. Founded in 2003, it produces small batches of high-quality white and red wines. Each batch consists of no more than 800-1000 bottles and the wine is made of typical grape varieties for the Black Sea region like Dimyat, Merlo, Chardonnay and Traminer. back
