Each year in early February a contest for the best home-made wine is held. Besides known as the wine month February is also famous as the month of love. The traditional vine pruning is organized by Nessebar Municipality alongside with the festival "Weekend of Love" on February 14th. back

Founded in 2003, the chateau produces small batches of high-quality white and red wines. Each batch consists of no more than 800-1000 bottles and the wine is made of typical grape varieties for the Black Sea region like Dimyat, Merlo, Chardonnay and Traminer. back

The hostess, Radka Nedeva, known as Granny Radka, is the living advertisement of Bulgarian folklore, cuisine, traditions and hospitality. She has turned her house into a museum, with hand-made costumes, shirts and mummers' masks on the walls. Another curiosity is a loom of historic value. back
